ACS Malaysia Chapter members are currently representing Malaysia at the ACS Global Chemists’ Code of Ethics Trainer Leadership Institute in Melbourne, Australia. Chemists and chemical practitioners from Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, the Philippines, and Jordan were selected to be trained at this Institute.
The Chapter is represented by our Co-chair Dr Lee Hooi Ling, Secretary Dr Mohd Firdaus Abdul Wahab, Assistant Secretary Dr Hasrinah Hasbullah, and our active member Dr Low May Lee.
ACS Global Chemists’ Code of Ethics Trainer Leadership Institute has ended successfully, with all our trainers receiving their certificates and training packs. They will return to Malaysia and provide training to at least 100 participants on the topics of publication ethics, chemical safety and security, and science communication. ACS Malaysia would like to thank ACS International Office and the Chemical Security Program of the US Department of State for providing support to our trainers to attend this Institute.
