ACS Malaysia Chapter is proud to partner with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Akademi Sains Malaysia, Young Scientists Network – Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia, Jabatan Pendidikan Johor and SM Sains Kota Tinggi to organize the Johor State Level of the National Science Challenge 2016.
The competition aims at finding the best school students to represent Johor in the National Level of NSC 2016. The winners of NSC 2016 get to go to Sweden (all paid for!) to attend the Nobel Prize award ceremony. Our Chapter Chair and Secretary-Dr. Bakri and Dr. Firdaus were also involved as the judge panel members for the NSC Johor State Level.
In conjunction with NSC Johor 2016, we have organized many activities to bring the budding scientists closer to science. Among the programs waiting are:
Programming Arduino, Prototyping Lab, Gravity Challenge, Fly Paper, Magnetic Train,
Chemistry on the Move, Microbes Around Us, Biodiesel, Green Energy Race, Pineapple, Sustainable Kingdom and Chem-E Car.
